When is Gwaun Vale open?
The park is open from 1 April to 30 September each year. Seasonal pitches and winter caravan storage are also offered.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 2pm and 9pm, and check-out is by 11am.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, up to 3 dogs per pitch at no extra charge. Dogs must be kept on leads, and there is a dog exercise area on site. Breed restrictions apply.
Can we have a campfire or barbecue?
Campfires are not allowed, but raised barbecues are welcome.
Do the pitches have electric hook-up?
15 of the 30 pitches have a 10-amp electric hook-up. Tents can add hook-up for £5 a night.
How do I book and pay?
Book directly by phone on 07530 381168 or by email to info@gwaunvale.co.uk, or book online through our campsites.co.uk or Pitchup listings. Payment is due on arrival.
How many people can stay on one pitch?
A maximum of 6 people per pitch. Prices are based on 1 to 2 people, with a charge of £10 per extra adult and £5 per extra child aged 1 to 15.
Can I bring an extra car or a boat trailer?
There is no guarantee that extra cars or boat trailers can be parked beside your unit, so please ask when booking.
Is there a pub nearby?
Yes, a small friendly pub in a countryside setting is about 10 minutes' walk from the park.
Is the park a good stopover for the Irish ferry?
Yes. Gwaun Vale is 1.5 miles from Fishguard, making it a very convenient overnight stop for ferry crossings from Fishguard harbour.
